Jewellery Care

Many factors can influence the condition of jewellery. Polishing and plating is a cost-effective solution to give the products real feel & look. However, these are prone to wear and tear with time.

ALL fashion jewellery are capable of tarnishing – and some faster than others. Why? It’s simple – over time, your jewellery comes in contact with moisture, acids, oils and air. They react with the metal in the jewellery, causing it to eventually wear down and tarnish.

The life of the product can be extended, depending on how you use and store the product. Just with
some additional care and pamper, we can ensure your beautiful jewelleries lasts longer.

  • Handle them gently and nicely with clean dry hands.
  • Some precious beads are easily breakable when dropped/knocked on hard surfaces. So,
handle them with extra care in a secure place, especially when wearing or removing them off.
  • These products are meant for occasional usage, 24×7 usage will only reduce the life of the
    product.
  • Please make sure to wear the jewellery as the last accessory of your any outfit. Do not wear
them until you have finished all the dressing up and have applied the necessary cosmetic
makeups, hair sprays, lotions, perfumes, suntan creams or getting in touch with any other
    chemicals/soaps.
  • Take care to avoid wearing them in extreme humidity or heat, sweaty condition as this
    may cause tarnishing.
  • After every usage, gently dab & remove the dirt or perspiration out of the jewellery with a
soft, dry cotton cloth and air them 5-10 mins and then safely store them. Do not use tissue
paper or paper towels to clean gemstones as they can cause scratching.
  • Store the jewellery in zip lock covers or pouches. Avoid storing in jewellery boxes/pouches,
or any velvet cases, or hanging them. Store them in a dark, cool and dry place, avoiding from
    direct sunlight.
  • Also make sure to store your jewellery individually, not mixed together, because harder gems
will scratch softer ones and almost all gems will scratch gold or silver. Pearls and beads
should be stored flat, so the thread doesn’t stretch out.
  • Leaving in air overnight will turn the silver to get oxidized which is usual process in silver
    jewellery.
  • Make sure to remove the artificial jewellery before sleeping, workout, cooking, household
chores, bath, swimming, or in shower. Avoid getting in contact with water or wearing it
around chlorinated pool and hot tubs. Remember many household cleaners contains bleach or
other harsh chemical that are harmful to Jewellery.
